Barcode is not recognized

The app uses Apple's VisionKit to recognize barcodes. In Settings, you can adjust which types are detected and see the full list of supported formats.

If there's a barcode you think should be supported but isn't, please reach out.

Barcode quality issues

When displaying a barcode, the app renders it as large as possible while still fitting on the screen and leaving a small margin. If possible, it also scales the barcode pixel-perfect. If that's not possible, iOS will handle the resizing.

• Sharing a barcode exports it as a PNG, which is pixel-perfect and high quality.
• For 1D barcodes, turning your phone to landscape can help readability.
• You may notice not all barcodes have the same amount of white space around them. This is intentional; the app prioritizes pixel-perfect scaling over uniform padding to avoid blurry edges.
